LG Optimus LTE Tag smartphone supports NFC

LG Optimus LTE Tag has a 4.3-inch multitouch IPS-LCD with a resolution of 800x480 pixels and is equipped with dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz. Built-in memory is 16 GB. There are wireless adapters Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and GPS-receiver. Battery capacity is 1700 mA / h.





The smartphone is equipped with two cameras - a front, with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels, and the main 5-megapixel with autofocus and LED flash. The gadget runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the manufacturer promises to upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

His name Optimus LTE Tag receives from the new and unique features LG Tag +, which uses NFC technology to communicate with special stickers or labels (tags), which can be programmed to automatically change the phone settings. For example, if willing, up past the label located at the entrance to the office, the phone will automatically switch to silent mode and turn on Wi-Fi, and the label affixed to the dashboard of a car can be programmed to activate Bluetooth and GPS.

It is unknown when the LG Optimus LTE Tag will be available and at what price, but it is likely that the manufacturer demonstrate this device at the upcoming MWC 2012 in Barcelona.
